PROBLEMS BREATHING?

Are you an optimal breather? Proper breathing is both a skill and a natural body function. Did you know that with each breath, your entire spine gathers and lengthens? Likewise with each inhale your torso widens and with each exhale it narrows. Allowing a constant, subtle internal motion of the entire body. That is in addition to getting oxygen to all your tissues of course.

Poor breathing patterns can seriously affect your physical health as well as your mental and emotional well being. With a high percentage of raw foods the respiratory system is responsible for eliminating approximately 70% of your metabolic waste. The remainder should be eliminated thru defecation 3%, urination 8%, and perspiration 19%. So, if you think that going to the bathroom everyday is important, or that working up a good sweat now and then is healthy, think again about the value of full free optimal breathing!

Here are a few other questions to consider: Are you a diaphragm (belly) or rib (chest) breather? Do find yourself holding your breath often? How high can you quickly and quietly count during one exhale? Is there a pause between breaths? How long is it? How long can you hold your breath at the end of a natural exhale? (without passing out) Do you breath through your nose or mouth? How would you describe your breathing? Easy? Effortless? Full? Shallow? Quick? Labored?....... Have you ever thought about it before?

To get the most out of any type of healing work and more importantly ..life, developing optimal breathing habits is one of the most valuable things you can do. REMEMBER THAT. Questions about how to start breathing better? There is more to breathing besides just sucking in air every once in a while.
